Developed and optimized a shop floor project using advanced data analysis and 3D Deep Learning. This project involves using 3D Deep Learning architectures such as PointNet, Clustering to detect and classify 3D objects such as Humans and generate insights into the ShopFloor in Arena2036
As Part of the MITACS GRI Program. Was the only Pakistani at the University of Alberta to deliver at the research symposium recieving recognition from their head of international relationships. Infront of over 200 faculty and students.
Selected for MITACS Internship in Canada at the University of Alberta. Internship worth over 10 K CAD. Under the Supervision of Professor Bin Han and Professor Michelle, I worked in the domain of analysing their framework to resolve border artifacts in images using JPEG 2000 standard based on wavelet transform.
Published a research paper as a First Author in SCAP, on 2D Critical region Identification using Images based on SSIM. This paper was the culmination of the Convergence progject.
To tackle lack of 3D Data with defects (Given the limited 3D Defected Data). Working in developing 3D Synthetic Data consisting of Manufactured Parts with induced defects using Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) based approach.
Presented research on convergence and AI applications at an international conference, earning recognition for innovation.
First Author of Research Paper marking the culmination of the Defect Detection Project
Paper LinkLed machine learning initiatives at NUST Airworks, focusing on the development of AI-driven systems for aerial vehicles. Mentored over 40 students in the domain of Defect Detection. Obtained Performance award at Technofest Turkey.
Co-Author of a Poster Presentation on Optimising Forming Process Behaviour using Artifiical Intelligence.
Project involved Identification and Classification of 3D Manufacturing Defects (Wrinkles, Bridges and Gaps), in collaboration with FARO and Boeing. This involved using a combination of Spectral Approaches (Wavelet Transform) and Ai based optimzation to classify defects given their point clouds. Hence the framework developed provides point level accuracy.
